Aqua-green amazonite in a little cube.

Aqua-green amazonite tumbled cubes with white streaks stacked on wood slices beside a leafy plant

Communication · Soothing · Harmony

Soft aqua faces with white streaks.

Amazonite is a blue-green variety of potassium feldspar called microcline, usually aqua blue with green. Its color comes from traces of lead within the stone, and it can also be colorless, white, yellow, pink, red or gray.

Each piece is tumbled into a smooth cube. The square shape symbolizes stability, structure and grounding energy, said to enhance manifestation and organization.

Size: Approx. ¾–1 in (1.9–2.5 cm)

The feel-better stone.

Amazonite is sometimes called the feel-better stone and the crystal of creativity. It is believed to soothe and calm your nerves, help with stress and help you think and feel more clearly, and to soothe violence, repress irrationality and quiet restlessness.

In crystal energy work, amazonite is associated with the Heart and Solar Plexus Chakras and is said to connect the higher Heart Chakra to the Throat Chakra. It is held as a symbol of the heart chakra, of luck and of courage of heart.

Legend has it that the Amazonians, a tribe of fierce warrior women, adorned their weapons with amazonite. The stone dates back to the Stone Age. Although it is named after the Amazon River, it comes from other areas around Brazil, and it is found in Brazil, Canada, the United States, Austria, India, Russia, Mozambique and Namibia.

Through the ages, crystals have been collected and prized for their beauty, their rich history and their potential spiritual and metaphysical properties. We love the idea that crystals may hold mystical properties, though nothing we sell comes with a mystical guarantee.
