Faceted amethyst on a silver chain.

A six-sided amethyst point hangs from a fine silver chain, with a small amethyst bead at the other end to hold between your fingers. It arrives with its own velvet pouch to keep it safe between readings.

Either hand, whichever feels like yours.

Pin the holding bead between your fingers and let the point hang freely. Your dominant hand gives a steadier grip; your non-dominant hand is said to keep you more open to the pendulum's energy. Try both and keep the one that feels natural.
