A smoky quartz wand that tapers to a six-facet point. In crystal practice, a wand's point is used to direct and amplify energy for healing, chakra balancing and manifestation work, and is said to ease blockages and deepen spiritual connection.
Smoky quartz runs from light tan to nearly black, from clear to cloudy, so every wand carries its own shade of smoke.

The stone
Colored by the earth over millions of years.
Smoky quartz takes its brown color from natural radiation acting on traces of aluminum; the longer it forms, the deeper the shade. Often mistaken for topaz, it grows in large crystals and is a durable, break-resistant gem long loved by jewelers.
Its old name, Morion, comes from the Latin mormorion, "dark precious stone." In 12th-century China, flat planes of smoky quartz made the first sunglasses, and in Scotland it has been cherished as a gemstone since the time of the Druids.

A crystal of grounding, protection and release.
In crystal tradition, smoky quartz is believed to absorb and transmute negative energy, bringing grounding, protection and emotional stability. It is thought to sharpen clarity of thought, help in overcoming challenges and bring balance and harmony, and it is associated with a deep connection to nature, relaxation and positive transformation.
It is linked with the Root Chakra and said to support grounding, stability, security and self-confidence.
Through the ages, crystals have been collected and prized for their beauty, their rich history and their spiritual and metaphysical properties. We believe in the mystical properties of crystals, though nothing we sell comes with a magical guarantee.
