Made for your favorite oils.
Lava stone is porous, so it absorbs fine matter and scent. Add a few drops of your favorite natural aroma oil to the stone and set it in a favorite spot to fill the space with gentle fragrance.
Volcanic lava rock is an igneous rock, formed when molten magma cools at the Earth's surface. Its texture ranges from glassy to granular depending on how quickly it cools, and its color depends on its minerals: silica-rich rock is lighter, iron-rich rock darker. The family includes dark gray basalt from the ocean floors, porous pumice, black obsidian glass and light gray trachyte touched with gold and pink.
A stone of grounding and courage.
In crystal tradition, volcanic rock is a grounding stone that strengthens connection with Mother Earth, and a powerful stone of courage and strength. It is said to hold two prime energies: fire, destructive and unpredictable, and earth, steady and calm. It is connected with the Root and Sacral chakras, said to ground you and ignite creativity. Raw, unpolished stones are believed to hold a powerful energy and the pure vibrations of the Earth, deepening your connection with nature and spirit.
Volcanic rock shapes surreal landscapes, like the hexagonal columns of Iceland's Svartifoss waterfall, Stuðlagil canyon and Reynisfjara beach. It has been used in ceremonies for over 8,000 years, as ancient vessels, animal carvings, masks and beads found around the world show.
Crystals and stones have been prized through the ages for their timeless beauty, rich history and believed metaphysical properties; Spirit Magicka makes no guarantee of any mystical effect.
